Hello,

I'm Jo. I live in Stevenage with my husband, two teens, three dogs, one cat, one rabbit and a goldfish. 

I have worked with dogs for over five years. Myself and Marie started our dog walking business in 2017 and in addition to the walking I have boarded dogs in my home away from home. In recent years I have stated to develop my interest in dog training. 

I have always enjoyed training with my dogs over the years and have noticed that the ones that I attended training classes with enjoyed it immensely and they are eager to try new things. Naturally they are more confident too! 

During my time as a dog walker and boarder, training techniques are something that I have naturally picked up along the way and as part of my own self development I wanted to improve my understanding and knowledge within this area. 

Training with your dog doesn't mean just teaching commands or tricks (though some of the things you can teach your dog are pretty awesome) it is also about building on your bond and having a fun time together and I want to be an active part of that process. 

To date I have shadowed an IMDT dog trainer on a regular basis and attended the following courses:

Canine first aid

Separation anxiety

Loose Leaders (IMDT)

Happy Recallers (IMDT)

2 day carer as a dog trainer (IMDT)

4 day carer as a dog trainer (IMDT)

Perfect Puppy (IMDT)
